Marchesi di Barolo's Barolo Tradizione is produced from grapes in sites across the village of Barolo in a very traditional way. It is aged in oak barrels for up to three years, after which the Barolo matures in the bottle for another six months.
Barolo Tradizione by Marchesi di Barolo is a beautiful dense ruby red colour. On the nose you'll find aromas of cherries, blueberries, raspberries, a hint of mint and even cedar wood.
On the palate it is well balanced with lots of fruit, fine spice and gentle tannins. A beautifully elegant wine. Enjoy it whilst it's young and vibrant or store for up to 15years and appreciate the complexity and maturity... if you can resist ;)
