Complex and elegant, Klaus Lentsch's wines were quite the discovery during the first ever Quaranvino Dinner Date. Lagrein is a grape variety native to Sud Tirol and produces wines with high acidity and beautiful aromas. Klaus refuses to release his Lagrein until it has had a year longer to age to in barrique and become a Riserva.
This is a beautiful wine that pairs well with meat dishes due to its pronounced acidity. At only 13% alc. finishing the bottle is really not the issue.
