We love Chateau Heritage's line of Cuvée St Elie wines, not only because of the story behind them - the range was dedicated to Elias Touma, Wissam and Dargham's father who passed away a few years ago - but because they are so food friendly.
Cuvée St Elie Rouge was the first Saint Elie wine to be created, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsault, Elias' favourite grape variety.
Saint Elie is also the winery's patron saint because as Dr D told us, you can do everything as you should but sometimes things go wrong, science can't help and you have to pray to a higher force.. (edited, of course ;-))
Something about the wine...
- Cabernet Sauvignon & Cinsault
- Aromas of red and black fruits such as black cherry, blueberry, grenadine, and raspberry.
- Elegant tannins
- Full-bodied - great with all types of meats.
