Borgo Maragliano is located in the heart of the Moscato d'Asti production area and was the basis of their family-winery. Carlo made the bold move to start making sparkling wines from Chardonnay and Pinot noir (which we love!), whilst still respecting the local tradition - producing Moscato.
Their Moscato is one of the best around, great for not overly sweet-desserts, cakes, spicy dishes, figs with salame, or even oysters...
And if you want to take the bitterness out of your Spriz-aperol, substitute the Prosecco for Moscato d'Asti and see the effect..
