A champagne-style wine made in Piedmont..
When Carlo took over Borgo Maragliano from his father, he had a dream.. He saw other regions in Italy - Franciacorta and Trento - making wines from these grapes and wanted to bring them to his part of the world, a region that was the first in Italy to make wine using the traditional or Champegnoise method. It was a natural step but he was the first to make it.
This Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and was included in our first session of Quaranvino Summer Wines. We're sure we'll be drinking this all year long though!
