Private Online Wine Events
Terms and conditions governing our private online wine events. Throughout these conditions, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Quaranvino. Quaranvino offers you event organisation services, including all information, tools and services available to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By signing our proposal and paying our invoice, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service.
Choice of wines
The wines for your event have been decided during the proposal. Should stocks not allow us to supply all participants with the same wine, we may substitute one of the labels with a wine of the same value and in the case of a dinner date, same value.
Shipment of wines
Addresses of the recipients should be communicated to us within 7 working days of the event for shipments outside of Germany. For shipments within Germany, this may be reduced to 5 working days.
The wines will be shipped with 1 package to the address provided by you via DHL, UPS or Hermes depending on the supplier. Any change of address will result in additional shipping costs. If an incorrect address results in a package not being able to be delivered, the resulting additional shipping costs will be invoied after the event.
Prices are gross prices including the currently valid rate of value added tax in Germany and shipping costs to addresses within Germany.
We accept no responsibility for the late delivery of wines when the issue is beyond our control. We will provide shipping details of the wines for you to communicate to your participants and check in case of late delivery but we are not ultimately responsible for the delivery of the wines.
The information you provide us about your participants is only used to fulfil the shipping orders needed to participate in the event. This data is neither stored nor processed.
Suggested recipes will be provided for each of these wines. We will set up a G Drive and communicate with you the link to share with your participants. These are suggested recipes and the participants are not obliged to prepare them. We accept no responsibility for the quality or the result of the recipe. ;)
You are entering into a contract with Quaranvino UG and agree to abide by the payment terms. The first invoice will be sent when the contract is signed and should be paid immediately to ensure that your wines are shipped on time. Any remaining balance will be invoiced after the event for payment within 7 days.
Payments may be made via bank transfer or the services indicated on the Stripe platform.
Late payment of the initial invoice may result in the late delivery of your wines. Late payment of the balance invoice will result in a penalty fee equal to 3% for each calendar month.
We are not liable for unexpected events such as the suspension of internet services used to host our event nor for the hacking of our platform.
Wines with natural corks have a very small chance of developing a defect. This is a rare case. Should this case occur, our partners offer the possibility to replace the bottle as soon as they have determined that it has a defect. Shipping to our partner is at your own expense.
You have the possibility to cancel the event until 10 working days before the event at no cost providing the wines for the event have not yet been shipped. After this date it is not possible to cancel the event, but it may be rescheduled to a date which is mutually fitting. In extreme cases, the event may be managed exclusively by one of our Quaranvino moderators or exclusively by our wine producer.
