Nicolis' Amarone is a more traditional version of Amarone to their Ambrosan (which is partially aged in smaller barrels over longer periods of time). Following the traditional technique, the grapes are dried until December, press and the wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 30 months.
We love Nicolis' wines for their elegance and balance and this Amarone is no exception. A meditation wine, try it on its own, with mature cheeses, stewed and roasted meats and importantly, with good company...
