Klaus Lentsch's Lagrein Riserva is one of our best-sellers since we discovered it on the very first Quaranvino dinner date.
Lagrein is a grape variety native to Sud Tirol and produces wines with high acidity and beautiful aromas. Aiming for complex, elegant wines, rather than make a "simple" Lagrein, Klaus prefers to age his a year longer to age in barriques and release it only which it can be labelled Riserva.
This is a beautiful wine that pairs well with meat dishes due to its pronounced acidity. At only 13% alc. finishing the bottle is really not the issue.
